we will always go to some hotel to celebrate her birthday
and then to countdown for the new year ahead.
however, it only lasted till 2001.
just the beginning of the new millenium.

now, her birthday is still on the 31st.
but august, not december.
its her death anniversary.

whenever people mention things like 'ur mummy....'
darren will always go quiet at that moment.
he wouldnt say things like' she has passed away'
or anything close to that.
he never answer to the question posted either.
